The house displays a staggering collection of fine art including paintings, furniture, porcelain, weapons, textiles - including stunning pieces created for the French Royal Family. This season visitors can enjoy several pieces that were not on public display:

A portrait of Oliver Cromwell by Robert Walker, until recently hanging in the Cabinet Office, Whitehall and previously, the Residence of the British Ambassador to the Netherlands, is on display at the Great Hall.
